Putt Out Heart Disease Fundraiser

A Putt Above has partnered with the local Ottawa Heart and Stroke foundation in order to support the life changing research that is funded by HSFO. Only 3 weeks into operations a staff members husband of 43 years old suffered a massive heart attack. Thankfully he survived due in no small part to the world class Heart Institute located here in Ottawa. Shaun St. Louis, principal owner of A Putt Above, is also no stranger to the Heart Institute and the Heart and Stroke foundation as his father has suffered 3 heart attacks and 3 strokes and is alive to this day thanks to their efforts and research. We all feel especially close to this foundation and have therefore requested their assistance in reaching our impressive $10,000 fundraising goal. Jan Ditchfield, Area Coordinator, Community Events for Ottawa's HSFO is assisting A Putt Above staff to promote their fundraiser which will kick off August 11th 2010 and run for 5 days. We are confident that with the support of Ottawa councilors, local businesses, and the community at large we will easily reach our goals and beyond. Help us put an end to heart disease.
